ASA’s Australia Chapter will be partnering with the International Institute of Business Valuers (IIBV) to offer the Principles of Valuation course series to business valuers in Melbourne, VIC Australia.
The 4-part course series is designed to introduce the principles of business valuation to the novice valuation practitioner and provide an overview of the areas of analysis that are common to a comprehensive business valuation. Topics covered include qualitative risk, quantitative risk, company growth, as well as various approaches to valuation.
Course offerings include:
- IIBV101—Introduction to Business Valuations, May 2-5, 2014
- IIBV102—International Cost of Capital, May 9-12, 2014
- IIBV103—Business Valuation Case Studies, Nov. 26-29, 2014
- ASA204—Advanced Topics, Dec. 1-4, 2014
Offerings will be divided into two blocks: IIBV101 / IIBV102 and IIBV103 / ASA204.
Courses will be held at the Pitcher Partners Seminar Facilities located at 15 William Street in Melbourne, VIC Australia.
ASA’s Business Valuation Discipline Committee Chair, Robert B. Morrison, ASA will be providing instruction in the first block of courses.
