ASA to Offer Discounted Registration for GIA Students to IACĀ“14

The American Society of Appraisers announces the offering of discounted registration prices for Gemological Institute of America (GIA) students to the upcoming 2014 International Appraisers Conference (IAC´14) to be held September 14-17 in Savannah, GA.

The 77th annual conference continues a proud tradition of providing high-level education and networking for appraisal experts. Offering innovative sessions and valuable insight into the profession, the IAC´14 features more than 40 sessions led by appraisal experts representing all appraisal disciplines—at the IAC´14, there is something for everyone—including students.

GIA students can expect to experience:
  • Informative educational sessions exploring the most current gems & jewelry valuation topics, issues and trends, including sessions on: Diamonds, Emeralds and Pearls; Estate Jewelry and American Federal Period Silver; Gem Lab Lighting and Provenance, Branding and Consulting.
  • Extensive networking opportunities with ASA Master Gemologist Appraisers® and valuation professionals of multiple disciplines.
  • Opportunities to attend special events like the Historical Tour, Awards Luncheon or President’s Networking Reception.

Special discounted registration prices for GIA students are available for Monday, September 15 at $175 and Tuesday, September 16 at $75. The one day registration fee includes the selected day’s conference sessions and materials, breakfast, refreshment breaks and lunch (if applicable).
