RESTON, VA – The American Society of Appraisers (ASA) is pleased to announce its hosting of an upcoming webinar “Applying for Accreditation: Personal Property” to air Friday, January 17 from 2-4PM ET.
The complimentary webinar will outline the steps necessary to earning a professional designation from the Society and identify the necessary requirements for achieving the Accredited Member (AM) or the Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) designation.
Individuals new to the profession, experienced professionals interesting in joining the Society through an equivalency program or ASA candidates enrolled in the program will benefit from attending the webinar.
The instructor for the webinar will be Edith Yeomans, ASA. Ms. Yeomans is on the faculty of the Society’s Principles of Valuation education program and teacher of the Introduction to Personal Property Valuation course. She is currently Vice-Chair of the Board of Examiners for Personal Property and Parliamentarian to the Board of Governors. Ms. Yeomans has over 30 years of experience in the arts in Canada and is a frequent author and lecturer on professional appraisal practices.
