Centered on providing an in depth understanding of the appraisal standards that govern the practice of appraisal. We examine the rule-based standards and various principles-based standards including the historic development of USPAP, USPAP 2012 Changes, USPAP Exposure Drafts, the International Valuation Standards, standards published by AICPA, IBA, AI, ASA, RICS, AMEA, ISA, AAA IFA, and other appraisal associations. This intense program offers the reviewer a solid understanding of the various appraisal standards through comparing and contrasting them and by reviewing appraisal report examples that apply them.
