Learning Objective: The objective of this course is to familiarize students
with the recognized standards governing professional appraisals. This is the 15
hour National USPAP course approved by the Appraisal Standards Board of the
Appraisal Foundation. Students are provided a current Uniform Standards of
Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) manual and current book at the course
site. Level: Basic
Note: This course
does not meet the continuing education USPAP requirements for
accredited/state-certified Real Property (RP) appraisers. The Appraisal
Foundation (TAF) requires that all accredited/state-certified RP appraisers
complete the 7-hour USPAP Update course every two years. Furthermore, TAF states
that the 15-hour USPAP course may not be used to meet RP’s continuing education
USPAP requirement.
This course may be used to meet
qualifying USPAP requirements for beginning Real Property students who are
seeking state certification. However, it is the responsibility of the student to
verify acceptance of this course with his/her
