Learning Objective: The objective of this course is to familiarize students with the recognized standards governing professional appraisals. This is the 15 hour National USPAP course approved by the Appraisal Standards Board of the Appraisal Foundation. Students are provided a current Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) manual and current book at the course site. Level: Basic

Note: This course does not meet the continuing education USPAP requirements for accredited/state-certified Real Property (RP) appraisers. The Appraisal Foundation (TAF) requires that all accredited/state-certified RP appraisers complete the 7-hour USPAP Update course every two years. Furthermore, TAF states that the 15-hour USPAP course may not be used to meet RP’s continuing education USPAP requirement.

This course may be used to meet qualifying USPAP requirements for beginning Real Property students who are seeking state certification. However, it is the responsibility of the student to verify acceptance of this course with his/her state
