ASA's International Virtual Chapter will offer the How to Overcome Conflict with Collaboration webinar on October 5, 2018 from 12:00pm-2:00pm ET.

Mike will define collaboration and engage the audience in a high energy interactive session on this topic. Mike will be using elements from three of his books in today’s presentation, "Peaceful Resolutions", "The Servant Manager" and "Business Valuations and the IRS:Five Books in One". Brain science will be applied to enlighten participants on the steps necessary in order to explore and enhance opportunities to provide for better client outcomes. Mike will introduce the National Association of Estate Planning Council’s Legacy training on Multi-Disciplinary Teaming and expand on how attorneys, CPAs, CLUs, financial experts and business valuers can enhance client outcomes through collaboration. The processes of de-escalation, communication, conversation, listening, discussion, negotiation, and compromise are presented. This allows participants to take advantage of The Collaboration Effect to give participants the tools they need so that they can apply them immediately in their practice to enhance relationships, resources and revenues.

Michael Gregory, ASA- is an international speaker on The Collaboration EffectTM, an author and a solution provider.  Mike assists clients with risk management issues with the IRS, alternate dispute resolution approaches to resolving issues, and other value added services. He was an IRS employee from front line specialist to executive level over his 28 year career at the IRS.His last 11 years Mike was a territory manager with responsibilities for up to 23 states, heading up business valuation nationally and teaching behavioral skills to managers. As a territory manager he brought mediation training nationally to the IRS. He is a Qualified Mediator with the Minnesota Supreme Court and a member of the ADR Section of the Minnesota bar. For the past seven years Mike has been the Chief Manager of Michael Gregory Consulting, LLC which focuses on helping organizations resolve conflict, negotiate winning solutions and inspire leaders. Mike has conducted over 2,500 mediations and negotiations and written over 30 articles and 11 books. Mike has a BS from Valparaiso University, a MS from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a MBA from DePaul University.
