Where do I stay?

The 2011 International Appraisers Conference will be taking place at the JW Marriott Hotel.

There are limited numbers of discounted rooms available so be sure to make your reservations early. The reservation deadline is Friday, July 15, 2011.

Where's all the action?

The 2011 International Appraisers Conference educational sessions, breakfasts, and networking events will be held at the JW Marriott hotel.

What do I wear?

We want you to be relaxed and comfortable. Business casual attire is appropriate for daily meetings, tours and special events. Lightweight clothing and sunscreen are recommended for outdoor activities. We recommend that you dress in layers in the hotel - sometimes the meeting rooms are cold.

Can I register on-site?

Yes, you may register at the On-Site Registration Desk. There is an additional $100 fee for registering on-site.

How do I get my conference badge?

When you arrive at the JW Marriott, you may pick up your conference materials at the ASA Conference Registration Desk.

May I bring a guest to the social events?

Yes, guest passes are available at the On-Site Registration Desk. There is a fee for each event. Please ask about tickets and prices at the registration desk.

If I am presenting at the conference, do I need to register?

Yes. Please remember that anyone who will be attending the conference needs to register.

How many reaccreditation hours can be earned at Conference?

Reaccreditation hours earned for ASA’s 2011 International Appraisers Conference (full attendance*), by discipline:

  • Business Valuation Discipline Total:   780 minutes (13.0 hours)
  • Gems and Jewelry Discipline Total:   630 minutes (10.5 hours)
  • Machinery and Technical Specialties Discipline Total: 705 minutes (11.75 hours)
  • Personal Property Discipline Total:   795 minutes (13.25 hours)
  • Real Property Discipline Total:    855 minutes (14.25 hours)

Plus,

  • Multidiscipline Sessions Total:    195 minutes (3.25 hours)
  • Organizational Participation Total:   300 minutes (5.0 hours)
