HOTEL RESERVATION DETAILS
You must be registered for the conference in order to receive the ASA group rate. When making reservations, the hotel requests you send a check or money order, or provide a major credit card with expiration date, as a deposit for the first night's stay. This deposit will guarantee that your room is held for you on the first day of arrival only. Hotel reservations and cancellations are the responsibility of the registrant. Deposits are refundable with a valid cancellation number issued by the hotel. Reservations must be canceled at least 72 hours prior to arrival or you will lose your deposit.
The group rate applies to the nights of August 9 – 18, and your reservation must be received on or before July 15, 2011. After this date, the hotel will release the unused portion of ASA's room block for general sale. Any new reservations received after the cutoff date will be at the guaranteed group rate on a space-available basis only. Requests for dates three days before and after will be accepted at the group rate on a space-available basis only. A portion of the room rate is rebated to ASA for expenses associated with the conference; a 14.5 % tax is currently applied to the room rate (subject to change without notice).
