YOUR REGISTRATION PACKAGE
Your conference registration package includes the following -
* Admittance in the conference's educational programming on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. (Admittance to discipline tours on Tuesday August 16 is limited to the discipline registrants only.)
* The Awards Breakfast Celebration on Monday
* The Town Hall Meeting on Monday
* Good Morning Continental Breakfasts on Tuesday and Wednesday
* Refreshment Breaks on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
* The President's Networking Reception on Tuesday evening (cash bar)
* Transportation between the Official Conference Hotel and the Conference-Sponsored educational programming
One-Day Registrant Fees includes the selected day's educational programming, breakfast, refreshment breaks, and, if applicable, a diskette containing all of the educational handouts.
Optional special events (where noted) are not included. In order to participate, you must pay the appropriate additional fee.
The Gala Party on Sunday evening, Shuttle to the Airport and Monuments Tour are not included. To participate, you must pay the appropriate additional fee.
The Companion Registrant Fee includes the Awards Breakfast Celebration, the Good Morning Continental Breakfasts, Refreshment Breaks, and the Closing Reception on Tuesday evening. The Companion Fee is $145 (Late fees do not apply to the companion fee). If your companion/spouse wishes to attend the educational sessions, they must pay the Conference Registrant Fee.
HOW TO REGISTER
On-Site Registration:
Registration for the International Appraisal Conference will be in the Grand Ballroom Foyer, which is located on the Ballroom Level of the JW Marriott Washington, DC. Please visit the Conference Schedule for daily registration hours.
REGISTRATION CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
We will gladly provide a refund for registrations cancelled through Friday, July 15, 2011, less a $100 cancellation fee. Cancellations time-stamped (via USPS postmark or e-mail receipt) after July 15, 2011 are not subject to refunds. "No shows" are also not subject to refunds. Substitutions will be allowed at any time without a fee. Requests must be made in writing to ASA via e-mail (meetings@appraisers.org), fax, or mail. Substitutions made after Monday, August 1, 2011 must be done on-site. All attempts will be made to process refunds within 30 days of receipt of the cancellation.
Presenters who need to cancel or request a substitution must contact Kawania Wooten at Howerton+Wooten Events (info@hwevents.com) for approval.
TERMS OF REGISTRATION
From time to time, ASA or its contractors record, photograph and/or stream the various aspects and activities of the ASA International Conference for both archival and promotional purposes. Submission of your ASA International Conference registration authorizes ASA and its contractors' permission to use your voice and image in any such archival or promotional recording, photograph or streaming activity. It also authorizes ASA to contact you by mail or e-mail.
BADGES AND CONFERENCE BAGS
Attendees registering in advance may pick up badge and registration materials at the Advance Registration desk at the JW Marriott during the hours indicated for On-Site Registration. Attendees will not be allowed to pick up other attendee badges/materials
OFFICIAL LANGUAGE
All conference presentations will be in English unless otherwise noted. We regret that we are unable to offer on-site translation services at this time.
