If you have not yet signed up for the Personal Property courses that will be held in October in Winston-Salem, NC, please take a minute and look at these offerings. They promise to provide an excellent opportunity for continued education, refreshing and extending knowledge – and for those candidates for advancement who are preparing to take the Antiques and Decorative Arts or Fine Arts exams, an opportunity to sit for those exams at the end of these educational offerings.

The discounted rate to us for a group of 1 to 3 people is $45 each way. Each additional person adds $10 to the total fare.
Mr. Tadesse will work with our group to shuttle us back and forth as economically as possible. It is about a 30-minute car ride from Greensboro to Winston-Salem. If arrivals fall within close proximity and he can arrange to bring several registrants in a single trip he will do so and give us an extended discount. So when you have your flight information and if you wish to have use help with arrangements, let Janella know what your itinerary is and we will attempt to coordinate. If you communicate with Door2Door, be sure to let them know that you are a registrant with the American Society of Appraisers Personal Property Courses.

The block of rooms at the Brookstown Inn (two blocks walk from Old Salem) will expire on September 10. So please make your reservations immediately. The following week is Furniture Market in High Point NC, and they will not have additional rooms available beyond our block or after that date if you fail to reserve. Finally, candidates who wish to take the advancement exam in Winston-Salem for Antiques and Decorative Art, either Thursday (10/14)or Sunday (10/17), or Fine Art (Sunday 10/17) must have applied for advancement and paid fees for the exam no later than October 1, 2010.
