Dear Members:

Thank you for attending our first meeting of the year. We discussed the upcoming National Conference in Phoenix. Rose Lysobey will be representing the Chapter and reporting in November. Guest speakers have been contacted and suggestions for topics discussed. Dave Harmon, national course instructor will speak at December's meeting. Additional speakers are soon to follow.

It came to our attention that Business Valuation professionals are requesting USPAP courses, locally. Chuck Cather, ASA is offering USPAP classes through the Appraisal Institute in Independence. The course is open to all those needing the class. Check the Appraisal Institute website for dates, time, and cost.

We are pleased to have Jason Bogniard, ASA offering to assist in recruiting business valuation professionals to our meetings. Jason can be contacted at jbogniard@applegrowth.com. Please let him know what resources would be valuable to you as a business valuation professional.

The Creekside entrees for October include; Strip steak, Salmon, and Honey Pecan Chicken. Dinners include salad, rolls, non-alcoholic beverage, and dessert. Dinner/meeting cost will remain $30.
