The American Society of Appraisers to offer support to devastated New York and New Jersey area members in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.
During this challenging time as recovery efforts move forward and power and transportation services are restored, ASA, in an effort to allow the nearly 500 members the chance to focus on clean up efforts and getting back to business, will extend current expiration deadlines for membership dues and reaccreditation to the end of year. Cancellations and rollovers for course registrations will also be granted; to those affected by the storm; however ASA asks those that are unable to attend a course to contact ASA Headquarters as soon as possible so that we may reschedule you for a later date.
“This is a frustrating time for people,” says Susan Houchins, ASA’s Director of Membership, Accreditation and Reaccreditation. “We want to assure our affected members that we are here to assist in anyway possible.”
