ASA Launches Awareness Campaign for its Professional Education Equivalency Certification Program (PEECP)
RESTON, VA (November 25, 2012) – The American Society of Appraisers is pleased to announce the launch of an awareness campaign for its Professional Education Equivalency Certification Program (PEECP).
This special program welcomes members from other organizations, recognizes past commitment and outlines the steps to becoming an Accredited Member (AM) or Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) and a recognized leader in the profession.
“Holding multiple designations is common in many professions” says Susan Houchins, ASA’s Director of Membership, Accreditation and Reaccreditation. “It demonstrates professionalism, mastery and expertise. ASA’s PEECP program recognizes this and provides a pathway to membership for established professionals, along with the benefits of joining the profession’s only international multidiscipline society.”
ASA is the only appraisal organization to offer multidiscipline accreditation programs with designations in:
- Appraisal Review and Management
- Business Valuation
- Gems & Jewelry
- Machinery & Technical Specialties
- Personal Property
- Real Property
