On October 18-21, 2015, valuation professionals from around the world will gather in Las Vegas for the International Appraisers Conference. They will explore and discuss the foremost trends and issues related to the appraisal profession.

Organized by the American Society of Appraisers (ASA), this year’s Conference marks the 78th annual offering, making it one of the longest consecutive running multidiscipline appraisal conferences. Since the event first began in 1937, it has grown to become the leading conference for valuation professionals.

Co-located this year with the Advanced Business Valuation Conference, a specialized offering for business valuers, the joint event will feature a combined 750 attendees, 80+ multidisciplinary educational sessions with presentations from recognized experts, valuable networking opportunities and exhibits from leading-edge companies, all in the entertainment capital of the world—Vegas!

The Society’s International President, Gary L. Smith, ASA, MGA comments: “The global appraisal profession is ever-changing. New standards, practices and innovations are constantly emerging.” Smith continues by saying, “The International Appraisers Conference will give us an excellent opportunity to discuss these significant changes with colleagues and leaders from around the world.”

“It’s imperative for today’s valuers to stay on top of new changes, not only for competitive reasons, but also from an ethical and legal prospective as well,” adds Conference Chair, Linda B. Trugman, ASA. “Despite the many benefits the Conference offers, the educational sessions alone are worth the trip.”

The International Appraisers Conference is for appraisers who specialize in appraisal review and management, gems and jewelry, machinery and technical specialties, personal property or real property; assessors; allied professionals; educators; government personnel; or students.
