The ASA St. Louis Chapter 049 is pleased to announce that it is in the running for the 2013–2014 ASA Outstanding Chapter Educational Event Award, which is given out each year to an ASA chapter-hosted educational event that highlights the excellent work, dedication and contributions of chapter members to the appraisal profession during the last fiscal year (July 1, 2013 – June 30, 2014).
On Friday, April 25 and Saturday, April 26, 2014, the ASA St. Louis Chapter 049 sponsored and hosted the ASA Healthcare Special Interest Group (HSIG) two-day, in-person course session at the Saint Louis Airport Marriott, featuring a blockbuster faculty of healthcare industry experts. The conference, entitled, “The Four Pillars of the Healthcare Industry: A Review of the Reimbursement, Regulatory, Competitive, and Technological Environment for Healthcare Valuation,” is an integral part and course requirement for earning the “Certificate of Completion” of ASA HSIG’s Multidisciplinary Advanced Education in Healthcare Valuation Program. The public relations efforts of the ASA St. Louis Chapter (2009 winner of the ASA Best Chapter Public Relations Program Award) generated positive national attention for ASA, and promoted the Society as the premier international organization devoted to multidisciplinary quality education in the healthcare appraisal profession.
