After a long day attending conference meetings, here's a chance to don your baseball cap, pull on your sneakers, and head on out to the ballpark! Don't miss this opportunity to see the nationally ranked Minnesota Twins play the Cleveland Indians at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome...in walking distance of the conference hotel. There are a limited number of tickets available at the ASA discount rate, so book your seat now.

A block of four tee times (16 golfers) is available on Saturday and a block of six tee times (24 golfers) is available on Sunday at The Meadows at Mystic Lake Casino and Resort. See The Meadows At Mystic Lake for more details.

Greens fee for The Meadows is $85, which includes GPS-equipped carts and unlimited driving range use. Club rentals (Callaway X18) are $40. Transportation is not provided, but there are several easy and nearly free ways to get to Mystic Lake. Ride the new light rail train from downtown (one or two blocks from the City Center) out to the Mall of America. Mystic Lake runs regular shuttle bus service from the Mall of America to the casino. As an alternative to golf, you can enjoy the Mall of America for shopping or the Mystic Lake Casino for gambling and entertainment!

Join us for a fun-filled, festive time as you meet new friends and reunite with old acquaintances. A variety of hot and cold hors d'oeuvres will be served. Returning by popular demand are the ASA Educational Foundation (ASAEF) Live and Silent Auctions. The auctions will raise funds to support the ASAEF's mission of carrying on education, research and charitable activities related to the advancement of the appraisal profession. Awards Luncheon and Town Hall Meeting

Monday, August 4

Ticket required for box lunch $10

Purchase a box lunch and enjoy it with friends and colleagues during the annual awards ceremony. Award winners for some of ASA's highest honors and achievements will be announced. Afterward, members of ASA are invited to attend the third annual Town Hall Meeting. Members are encouraged to express their opinions and solicit responses from the ASA board of governors and headquarters staff. The Town Hall format is designed to enable representatives from chapters to put forth issues and concerns from their chapter membership. This format will enhance that input by allowing discussion and interaction among chapter, board, staff and committee leaders.

Fabulous '50s Flashback Dinner Cruise

Open to all registrants; $75 per person; ticket required

Calling all greasers, nerds and dollies! Dust off those blue suede shoes, trim your sideburns and put on your coolest threads for a night of ‘50s fun. This chartered three-hour Mississippi Riverboat Cruise with dinner, open bar, entertainment and souvenir photo is not to be missed.

As you cruise the majestic Mississippi River, bebop the night away to DJ-featured oldies by legendary musicians such as Fats Domino, Buddy Holly, Elvis and The Big Bopper. Once you've worked up an appetite, visit the onboard Riverboat Diner for the "blue plate special" of savory meatloaf, oven fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, salad, rolls with butter and devil’s food cake. Then plan to end the night with a hula hoop contest and cool prizes that will surely put everyone on cloud 9. Don't punk out. Be there ... or be square!
