ME203 is being presented via a synchronous webinar
series format and will be taught by a live instructor over the
course of (4) weeks. Students will meet
virtually with the instructor twice a week for (3) hours each session on Mondays
and Fridays, and engage in discussions, exercises, and
post-session assignments. There are a total of (8) sessions. Students
must
participate in each live webinar session in order to complete the course and
receive full credit. Be sure to review the Series Schedule below prior to
registering.
Registration
Students will receive log in details for the live
session following registration. Registration includes:
- One registrant log-in to the live sessions; and

Student Requirements
- Recommended Textbooks:"Valuing Machinery
and Equipment" (2011) and "Uniform
Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice" (current edition) 2018-2019 USPAP PDF Download Only.

A computer, knowledge of how to use a
computer, and internet access are
required in
order to complete the course. Students must have the following available
for all sessions:
- Laptop or desktop
computer with internet access.

Telephone access
or computer headset
with microphone.
- Printed or electronic copy of all student
materials.

Familiarity with:
- Internet Explorer/Google Chrome/Firefox Internet
browsers.
- GotoWebinar, GotoMeeting, WebEx and other similar
software platforms.

Exam
Students must complete the 3 hour written exam with
a proctor within (45) days after the webinar series concludes. The exam is not administered online. Instructions for completing
the proctored exam are provided with the course handouts. It is the student's
responsibility to secure a proctor, submit the Exam Request Form (included in
eMaterials), and complete the written exam. Further exam instructions and
guidance are provided within the eMaterials. For more information on acceptable

eMaterials
Each course registration includes a full electronic set
of course materials including handouts, pre-reads, references and any additional
student information. Printed materials will not be made available for
webinar series registrants. Once eMaterials have been distributed, courses are
no longer refundable. Students are
expected to bring to each online session an electronic copy (loaded on a laptop
or mobile device) or a print copy of all course materials/handouts to
use as a reference for the webinar lecture. All eMaterials
are provided in an Adobe PDF format which can be viewed
using the free
Adobe Reader application. eMaterials are presented in color and are bookmarked and
comment/typewriter enabled. For students choosing to print materials,
it is recommended that you adjust the print settings to print in black and white
(or grayscale) and consider printing double-sided on recycled paper.
