Nigel P. Wilson is the national director of insurance services within the Fixed Asset Management & Insurance Solutions (“FAMIS”) group of American Appraisal.




Mr. Wilson is experienced in developing the cost approach for insurance purposes in all industrial, commercial, and institutional occupancies, as well as cost trend development and maintenance.


Mr. Wilson joined American Appraisal in 2000 as director, training and education, for American Appraisal’s Milwaukee FAMIS group.  He became vice president and managing principal of the Milwaukee Industrial Valuation Group in 2001; in 2003, he was promoted to the position of vice president and practice manager of the Toronto Industrial Practice.  Mr. Wilson was promoted to his current position in 2005.  Prior to joining American Appraisal, he was employed by FM Global for 21 years, where he served as a manager of appraisal standards.
