International Secretary/Treasurer Nominations

Individuals nominated for this office must be active members holding the designation of ASA or FASA, or reciprocal equivalent thereof. They must have completed a full term as either Governor or Chair of a Standing Committee, or as an officer or director of an entity that has merged into the society, as of the date of such individual taking the relevant International Office.

Nominations may be made only by a member holding the designation of AM, ASA or FASA, or reciprocal equivalent thereof. Nominations must be made in writing and must include documentation that demonstrates the qualifications of the nominee and the nominee's written consent.

When making a nomination, it is recommended that you consider an individual's organizational ability, leadership skills, reputation in the field, willingness to devote time to ASA and contribution to the work of the Society. All of these factors play an important role when determining who should fill this influential position.

Nominations for Lifetime Achievement Award

The Lifetime Achievement Award is an honor bestowed on a select few members who have demonstrated exemplary, steadfast and consistent dedication, involvement, commitment and loyalty to ASA and the appraisal profession. Nominees must hold the designation of ASA or FASA, or reciprocal equivalent thereof, in good standing and must have held that designation for at least 25 years and be at least 70 years of age.

Honorary Membership Nominations

Nominees must be nonmembers of ASA and must have, in the judgment of the Board of Governors, contributed substantially to the appraisal profession and/or performed an unusual and valuable service for the Society sufficient to merit recognition by the Society.
