Webinar Course Description
Like many specialty professions, BV practitioners and the
BV community have a common set of language and fundamentals that frame their
work. This fundamental introductory presentation will confirm a BV "glossary of terms" and provide a framework to explain the valuation process.
Course Audience
(1) Non-BV professionals and frequent users of BV
services (lawyers, judges, fiduciaries, bankers, and accountants.
(2)
BV and CPA staff "new" to the profession and practice. These staff have
been "on the job" for a year or so and asked to perform financial analysis and
"spread" financial data. This presentation is intended to fill in
information gaps and specifically address "why" the project is being
done.
(3) Potential users of BV services (a business owner that is
thinking about selling his business; a wife or son who must prepare a valuation
to file with an estate tax return (Form 706); a shareholder/partner who is dissatisfied with their minority position).
