Course Description
This
workshop is designed for dealers, gemologists and appraisers. You will learn to
identify natural vs. synthetic diamonds using standard gemological instruments.
Instructional Methods
This hands-on workshop will focus on:
1. Identify Natural versus Lab-Grown Diamonds.
2. Properties of Natural, HPHT-grown and CVD-grown Diamonds.
3.
Methods of screening diamonds for synthetic origin using standard gemological
instruments.

4. Testing of mounted diamonds for synthetic
