This webinar will introduce the history of early
printings of the English Bible as well as introduce the attendees of the webinar
to bibliographical issues, such as points of issue, affecting the valuation of early English Bibles as well as printed books.

Lee Raffaele Biondi is an Accredited Senior Appraiser in the Los Angeles
Chapter of ASA and an Accredited Member of ISA. After ten years managing
Heritage Book Shop, Inc. on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles, Mr. Biondi opened
BIONDI Rare Books & Manuscripts Gallery on Melrose Place in West Hollywood
in 2001. From 2009 Biondi has been headquartered in Santa Barbara, CA operating
BIONDI Rare Books & Manuscripts, LLC. Mr. Biondi has published and lectured
on values and prices of Charles Dickens, Ian Fleming, James Joyce, Antiquarian
Bibles in English and other languages, Hebrew Manuscripts from Antiquity to
modern times, and Medieval & Renaissance Illuminated Manuscripts.Enter the

John V. Henley, ASA | John V. Henley, LLC
John V. Henley was a used and rare bookseller from 1968 to 2008. In the
course of his career, he also bought and sold archives and archival materials.
He began to professionally appraise books and archives in the late 1980's. He is
an Accredited Senior Appraiser with the American Society of Appraisers and has
served, and is serving, on the Personal Property Committee. This webinar is a
precursor to a two day course that John Henley is developing on appraising
archives.
No prerequisites for this course.
