Webinar Course Description
There are numerous Mediation styles and techniques that
can resolve cases in an amicable manner. Learn advanced tips, such as defusing
and approaching impairments, as well as the ABC’s of Mediation from Jeffrey W.
Brend. Mr. Brend is an AAML certified mediator and arbitrator, and has over 30
years of mediation and litigation experience. He will utilize his years of
experience as an ASA to show how these skills can be utilized in the appraisal and litigation process.

skills with attorneys, parties, mental health professionals, collaborative attorneys, and mediators.

Jeffrey W. Brend, JD, CPA/ABV, ASA, CFE, CFF, CDFA, AAML, is a Principal of
the nationally recognized family law, forensic accounting, tax and business
valuation practice Levin & Brend, P.C in Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Brend is a
Past President of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, Illinois Chapter.
Mr. Brend is a CPA who is also a AAML Certified Family Law Arbitrator and
Mediator. He is the only person in the country who is a CPA, fellow of the
American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, a Senior Appraiser with the American
Society of Appraisers, Accredited Business Valuator with AICPA and a Certified
Fraud Examiner.
