Webinar Course Description
The first 30 minutes will cover IVC elections, new
designees, ASA and discipline updates, other chapter business. We will then show
the BV, RP, and MTS case study. The case study is about is about a highly
leveraged buyout. The seller has his ideas about the value of the business, but
they must be supported by appraisals for the lenders. The business owns fixed
assets including machinery, equipment and real property, all of which will be included in the sale. One of the tracts of land has environmental issues.

Will Frazier founded W. H. Frazier & Co., Inc. in October of 2018 after
43 years of working for investment banking and business valuation firms in
Dallas and Houston. His areas of concentration are:

Joshua George, ASA
Joshua George is Head of Asset Management for F.N.B. Corporation for
which he has worked since September 2016. His responsibilities
include:
Researching market trends
Evaluating machinery and equipment for various financial
purposes
Working with appraisers and vendors to evaluate equipment and identify
trends
Disposition of assets that come off lease
Assisting bankers, lease officers and financial professionals in
researching market trends and evaluating equipment

Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course,students will be able to:

to accurately value the business and its assets;
- Present real world obstacles and issues that appraisers may encounter and
how to handle them in the appraisal process and reports; and
- Determine how the appraised values interact with one another to determine
an overall value that includes intangible value as well as the value of
personal and real properties.
