Meeting Safely

(released June 1, 2021)

The safety of those participating in ASA events is our highest priority. As we continue plans to welcome you on-site at the 2021 ASA International Conference, we want to assure you that we are taking all of the appropriate steps to ensure a safe meeting environment for all participants including attendees, speakers, staff and venue personnel.

As of June 1, 2021 the state of Nevada has allowed gatherings to return to 100% capacity. Current CDC guidance on masks recommends those who have not been vaccinated continue wearing masks and following social distancing and other precautions until fully vaccinated. The guidance allows fully vaccinated people to stop wearing face coverings in crowds and in many indoor locations.

As the state of the pandemic is still changing from day to day, we will continue to monitor the status and heed guidance from federal, state, local and venue officials, and modify our on-site safety plans accordingly.

ASA’s Duty of Care Plan

We are working closely with the venue to implement health, cleaning and safety processes and procedures in relation to all meeting rooms and other areas of the venue where in-person interactions will take place. Read ASA Duty of Care plan.
