Session Description

There are many legal issues and pitfalls when appraising art and antiquities. This session will provide insight into areas of concern, including stolen art, forged, highly "conserved" or misrepresented art; illegally imported art, and American Indian artifacts. We will also discuss black market and hidden provenance/chain of title issues arising from these areas of concern.
