by Jennifer Aguilar | May 28, 2020

The Appraisal Standards Board has issued the Second Exposure Draft of Proposed Changes to 2022-23 USPAP. The Board is modifying the proposed changes based on thoughtful comments submitted in response to the First Exposure Draft and considerable reflection about the issues facing appraisers and users of appraisal services. The exposure draft covers multiple topics including:
  • Titling, labeling or identifying the report option
  • Signature options
  • Disclosures regarding inspections
  • New definitions (e.g. significant appraisal assistance)
  • Revised definitions (e.g. appraiser & personal inspection)
