May 12 marked an important day for ASA members – the beginning of elections for new International Officers, Discipline Governors, Discipline Committee Officers and Members-At-Large.
Participation in the election process is critical to the success of the Society. Not only does this help ensure candidates who closely represent the ideals and values of constitutes are elected, but also that members have a vested interest in the many issues impacting ASA and the global valuation profession, and trust in the individuals they supported to address such. Elected leaders play an important role in shaping the strategic direction for the Society, as well as protecting your livelihood and bottom line.
For 2023, ASA is using an independent voting platform. All members who are eligible to vote and in good standing as of April 15, 2023 will receive a ballot today, May 12, from eBallot.
