
Charles Rosoff, ASA, MRICS, is the president of Appraisal Services Associates, specializing in forensic valuations of Fine Art, Antiques, Decorative Arts, and residential and office contents. An experienced appraiser since 1984, he is an Accredited Senior Appraiser from the ASA and a Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. He has held significant roles within ASA, including Discipline Governor on the International Board of Governors and President of the New York Chapter. He has also been the Legal Issues Editor of the ASA's Personal Property Journal. Mr. Rosoff teaches at ALI-ABA and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and has taught USPAP and personal property valuation at various universities. He has also taught Appraisal Research Methods at New York University and served as an expert witness. Currently, he edits annual supplements to Valuation Strategies in Divorce and Valuing Specific Assets in Divorce. Mr. Rosoff holds a B.A. in History of Art from the University of Michigan, trained at Sotheby’s London, and completed the Certificate program in Appraisal Studies at New York University. He has also worked for Christie’s New York.

Terri Lastovka, CPA, JD, ASA, ARM, is the founder of Valuation & Litigation Consulting, LLC, specializing in business valuations and litigation consulting. Her areas of expertise include domestic relations, gift and estate tax, probate, shareholder disputes, economic damages, and forensic accounting. She holds the Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) credential, earned in 2004, and the Appraisal Review & Management (ARM) credential, earned in 2017. Ms. Lastovka has been actively involved in the ASA ARM Discipline Committee, serving as an At-Large Committee Member (2018-2020), Secretary/Treasurer (2020-2022), and currently as Chair. She graduated with a BBA in Accounting from Kent State University in 1986, where she was inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa and Mortar Board. She became a CPA in Ohio in 1989 and earned her Juris Doctor from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 1995, being admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1996. Her professional affiliations include the Ohio Bar Association, Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, West Shore Bar Association, Lorain County Bar Association, Center for Principled Family Advocacy, Cleveland Academy of Collaborative Professionals, and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.

Bryce Erickson, ASA, is the managing director of Mercer Capital’s Oil and Gas Industry Group. He has been involved with hundreds of valuation and related engagements since his entry into the valuation profession in 1998. These engagements have been conducted for the purposes of mergers and acquisitions, buyouts, buy-sell agreements, financial reporting, estate and gift taxes, allocation of purchase price, litigation support, financing, and business planning. In addition, he has experience in valuing a wide variety of intangible assets such as patents, customer lists, trademarks, contracts, and others. He has also testified in both state and federal court in support of his opinions. Mr. Erickson has supported ASA as a volunteer leader, most notably serving as vice president for the ASA Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter. He earned a B.B.A. in Economics from Baylor University.

Theresa Brossmer, ASA, ARM, MGA®, is the founder of Gem Appraisals Unlimited, LLC, an independent gem and jewelry appraisal office. With nearly 40 years of experience, she holds prestigious credentials including Accredited Senior Appraiser, Master Gemologist Appraiser®, and Appraisal Review & Management from ASA, as well as Accredited Senior Gemologist from the Accredited Gemologists Association. Ms. Brossmer has designed and taught courses for ASA’s Principles of Valuation program in Gems and Jewelry, both in the U.S. and China. She is a certified USPAP Instructor by the Appraisal Qualifications Board. Her diverse practice includes serving the public, the jewelry and diamond trade, and federal law enforcement with appraisals, consulting, expert witness testimony, and litigation support. Currently, she is the President of the Accredited Gemologists Association and actively involved with ASA’s Gem and Jewelry Discipline. Ms. Brossmer holds a Graduate Gemologist (GG) credential from GIA, a Certificate in Appraisal Studies from the University of California, Irvine, and has completed courses in watch appraisal and forensic jewelry. She also regularly attends continuing education conferences by the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers and the Accredited Gemologists Association.

Charles Dixon, ASA, ARM, is the president and owner of CD Valuation Services, Inc., specializing in the appraisal of machinery and equipment for industrial, commercial, retail, and inventory sectors. With over thirty years of experience, Mr. Dixon holds notable credentials, including Accredited Senior Appraiser and Appraisal Review and Management designations from ASA, and Certified Senior Appraiser from Equipment Appraisers of North America (EANA). He has been an active volunteer leader within ASA, serving as Director of the ASA Educational Foundation, ARM Vice Chair of the Board of Examiners, Ethics Committee Member, At-large Member of the Appraisal Review & Management Committee, and Co-Editor of the Appraisal Review & Management E-Journal. Additionally, Mr. Dixon is a USPAP Certified Instructor in Personal Property (machinery & equipment) through the Appraisal Qualifications Board (AQB) of the Appraisal Foundation and has provided expert testimony in various courts and boards of view.

Sandra Tropper, FASA, is the founder and owner of Artemis, Inc., an art appraisal firm established in 1990. The firm offers appraisal services for private collectors and institutions for tax reporting, insurance, and property transactions. With over 30 years of experience, Ms. Tropper is a Fellow Accredited Senior Appraiser (FASA) with ASA and has held various prominent positions within the ASA, including Past Chair of the ASA Personal Property Committee and Past Representative of ASA to The Appraisal Foundation Advisory Council. She is also an AQB-certified USPAP instructor and has taught for ASA and other institutions such as SUNY Purchase, RISD, UCI, Pratt Institute, George Washington University, University of Chicago, and Northwestern University. Ms. Tropper holds an M.A. in History of Art from The George Washington University and an M.A. in International Studies from Johns Hopkins SAIS. She has also pursued practical fine arts education at the Corcoran School of Art and Design, the Smithsonian Institution, Pyramid Atlantic, and Maryland College of Art and Design.

Ernest Demba, FASA, ARM, IFAS, is the Managing Member of Demba Valuation Services, LLC, offering expert appraisal and consulting services. With over 40 years of experience, he holds prestigious credentials including Fellow Accredited Senior Appraiser in Real Property and Appraisal Review & Management from ASA. His extensive volunteer leadership with ASA includes roles such as Chair and Discipline Governor of the Real Property Discipline Committee, Director of the Political Action Committee, Chair of the Ethics Committee, Vice Chair of the Board of Examiners, and Chancellor of the College of Fellows. He is also an AQB Certified USPAP Instructor and seasoned appraiser educator. In January 2009, he was honored with Life Membership in ASA. Mr. Demba retired in 2020 from teaching at Washington University in St. Louis and previously taught at Lindenwood University. He has also taught internationally, focusing on appraisal theory and real estate valuation. He holds a B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and an M.S. in Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, and an MBA in Business/Managerial Economics from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Since January, 2022, he has maintained his Missouri Professional Engineering License, which he held for 44 years, in an Inactive Status.
