9:00am – 5:00pm | Personal Property Post-Conference Tour (Personal Property attendees)
$125 per person

Join fellow Personal Property attendees for an exciting post-conference tour of New Orleans. The morning begins with a visit to the Newcomb Art Museum of Tulane University, featuring a one-hour tour of their current exhibition. Next, we travel to the Ogden Museum of Southern Art, where curator, Bradley Small, will conduct our tour of their collection. Lunch follows next-door to the museum at Carmo, a family-owned restaurant, where a delicious buffet with Southern cuisine will be served. Our next stop will take us to the Hermann-Grima House, allowing us to study the historical architecture and decorative arts of this special city. Lastly, our day will conclude with a two-hour tour of the Historic New Orleans Collection, with head curator, Lydia Blackmore, providing us with two separate tours. First, Lydia will first provide us with a show and tell of distinguished items in her museum's collection. Second, Lydia will conclude our tour by presenting items from her museum's distinguished Mardi Gras collection to provide insight for appraisers lucky enough to encounter these hand-crafted works in their professions.

Cost to participate is $125 per person which includes all entry fees, lunch and transportation. Due to space constraints this tour is currently limited to Personal Property attendees only.
