At its meeting on November 28, 2023, the Board of Governors voted to expel Kenneth Dufour of Rockford, IL from the ASA for violation of the ASA Principles of Appraisal Practice and Code of Ethics, Section 5.1, 5.2, Section 9, subsection 2, and American Society of Appraisers Operations Procedure Rule IV—Professional Standards and Ethics, Section 7, subsection E. Mr. Dufour was formerly designated in Machinery & Technical Specialties.
