Going Concern Education Valuation Program
ASA’s “Allocating Components in Going Concern Appraisals” course was developed in response to new requirements impacting SBA-backed business loans and recent moves by financial institutions, both of which are providing new opportunities for ASA-designated appraisers who specialize in Going Concern valuations.
The new course will provide ASA-designated real property appraisers, certified general appraisers and assessors a thorough, hands-on learning experience covering the knowledge and understanding to properly allocate/segregate the components and analyze their effect on value as required by the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). Instruction will be provided by highly experienced, ASA-designated appraisers who specialize in real property and business valuation.
