Bob’s was known for his gregarious personality and big heart, and built a reputation not only as a skilled professional but as a mentor and friend to many in the personal property appraisal community. He was deeply dedicated to the ASA Hudson Chapter, rarely missing a meeting despite the long distances he often traveled from Binghamton to participate and contribute.
Bob’s service to ASA spanned decades. He served locally as president of the ASA Hudson Valley Chapter in 1990, 1996, and 2007, and was a member of its Board of Directors from 1990 until his passing in 2025. He also served on ASA’s International Personal Property Committee, sharing his expertise to help strengthen the profession.
Bob’s legacy lives on in the many colleagues and friends he mentored, often alongside his wife, Sally, with whom he shared a lifelong commitment to the profession.
