Joseph “Joe” Noselli, Chief Financial Officer for ASA, passed away on Monday, June 3, 2024, surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with esophageal cancer.
Joe was responsible for providing financial and analytical support and information to all departments, chapters, committees, and the Board of Governors, as well as overseeing the work of both the finance and information technology departments and their staff. He also served as staff liaison to the Budget & Finance Committee, the Appraisal Review & Management Committee, and the ASA Educational Foundation. Joe had been with ASA just shy of 12 years. His financial leadership accomplishments and diverse global experience, along with his education and nearly 40 years performance and operations management experience, provided ASA with valuable strategic insight necessary to support important fiscal and operational initiatives. Before ASA, Joe served as chief financial officer for National Resources Conservation Service—USDA, and vice president & controller for multiple companies, including CGI, ITT Industries, Fedders Corporation, and Ingersoll Rand.
Joe was a devoted and loving father, spouse, and friend. Above all, Joe was a great family man. He shared a beautiful life with his beloved spouse, Laura, and together they raised his two cherished children, Caitlin Noselli of Jersey City, NJ, and Shannon Brodbeck of York, PA, who were the pride and joy of his life. He was also a passionate Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan and loved sharing a glass of Italian red wine with family and friends.
Joe is survived by his wife Laura, to whom he was married for 35 years, and their two daughters Caitlin and Shannon.
